Penny and Howie Strive for 35

Strive for 35 · 1 March 2025
For the past 35 years Canine Partners have been training assistance dogs for people with physical disabilities. These amazing dogs bring a greater independence and quality of life to their partners, offering security, companionship, and practical help with everyday household tasks. They are trained to help with tasks such as opening and closing doors, unloading the washing machine, picking up dropped items, pressing buttons and switches and fetching help in an emergency. These life-transforming dogs also provide psychological and social benefits including increased independence, confidence, social interaction and self-esteem.
Ex CP Howie and I intend walking 35 km every week during March and would be extremely grateful for any donation you might feel able to contribute towards the wonderful work Canine Partners does.
