Street Storage are a charity providing those experiencing homelessness with free, accessible and safe storage for their belongings. As a charity they help keep safe important documents, valuables and more, giving people the freedom to live, work and sleep whilst living without a permanent home. The have two storage facilities in London, and are working with 'It Takes a City' to bring Street Storage to Cambridge.

In London itself, they received 474 requests to store during 2023. No fault evictions accounted for just over 20% of these. Currently they store for around 250 people across their two London sites.

Homeleneses, and the difficulties people face as part of this, are an all too familiar part of life in Cambridge, and so this is why in particular I'm hoping to raise some money for Street Storage whilst running in the Cambridge Half on Sunday 3rd March. If you're able to spare any spare change (no matter how small) all donations will be gratefully received! Thank you! :)
