Story

Penrith Community Fire Station Open Day - Saturday 30th August 2025 (11am-3pm)

Click 'Read Story' for more information on the RAFFLE and PARKING etc...

This is our annual open day to help support the fantastic 'Fire Fighters Charity' and a chance for everyone to come and visit the station. We'll have lots to see and do on the day including games and challenges, appliances used in service, chance to meet some other blue light agencies, food and refreshments, ice-cream and much more!

We want to make it as fun and accommodating as possible for everybody.

RAFFLE TICKETS

With the kind help of local businesses we have secured some amazing prizes for the raffle, which will directly raise funds for the charity...

Please contact us through Messenger on the 'Penrith Fire Station' Facebook page to buy tickets in advance, otherwise they will be sold on the day at the raffle stall as usual.

PARKING

Signage will be put up on the day. Please be aware GoogleMaps directs you through the wrong entrance, the correct entrance is off the A686 under the bridge.

TOKENS

On the day there will be a mix of free activities, paid activities and things for sale. To make it easier to get involved in each stall, you can buy tokens with cash or card and then 'pay/donate’ for things with them.

SCHEDULE

Closer to the time we will add more details of the events running at certain times during the day e.g fire demos and VR headset sessions.

OTHER AGENCIES

There will be stalls from other agencies attending too, including Blood Bikes, North West Ambulance Service, Mountain Rescue, Great North Air Ambulance, Andy's Man Club…

(+ hopefully a special appearance from Paw Patrol Marshall, fingers crossed!)

Everybody is welcome and we'd love to see as many of you as possible on the day! See you there :)

(10-11am reserved for people with SEN and their families)
