Fundraising for the Headland Unit Fund directly enhances the specialist care provided to patients receiving oncology and haematology treatment on the unit at Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.

Every donation helps the team to go beyond what the NHS alone can provide - whether by funding advanced equipment, improving the comfort and environment of treatment areas, or supporting initiatives that make patients’ treatment journeys a little easier.

We have taken inspiration from the real life story, the film and the musical where funds were raised by the WI to support their local cancer unit.
