Story
As a house we will be raising money in aid of the Henry Angell-James Memorial Trust. HAJMT is an amazing charity and for a great cause. As many of you are aware Henry suffered a fatal cardiac arrest on his regular train journey home. He was only 54. The charity aims to raise awareness surrounding coronary heart disease and cardiac arrest. Alongside this, the HAJMT aim to provide AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) to communities where raising the funds for them may not be possible, or for communities in remote areas. We aim to raise at least £8000 which will allow us to place 8 AEDs in areas that do not currently have them. In aid of this charity, we aim to walk the length of the Ridgeway in a relay format. This is an 87 mile long trail starting in Avebury, Wiltshire and finishing at Ivinghoe Beacon, Buckinghamshire. We will begin on the morning of Saturday 22nd March and aim to complete the trail on the evening of the 23rd. Any donations would be hugely appreciated.
