The players and staff at Perranporth AFC are coming together to raise money for the "Sunrise Appeal - The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Clinical Oncology And Cancer Care Appeal," a cause that holds immense significance for everyone at our club.

One of our teammates Marcus Jones, is currently undergoing cancer treatment and will benefit from the incredible services provided by Sunrise. Witnessing a member of our football family face this challenge has opened our eyes to the vital support, care, and facilities that Sunrise offers to individuals in our local community.

Sunrise Charity plays a crucial role in supporting cancer patients and their families by providing specialized treatment facilities, support services, and compassionate care that help make an incredibly difficult time a little more manageable. Their work ensures that people can receive the treatment and support they need closer to home.

As a team, we felt compelled to take action and show our solidarity. Our upcoming event, the Perranporth AFC Quiz Night on March 14th, 2026, is an opportunity for both the club and community to unite, enjoy a wonderful evening together, and raise funds for a charity that is already making a difference in the life of one of our own.

We have set an ambitious target of £500 to help Sunrise continue their amazing work. Any donation big or small will truly make a difference in supporting this essential cause. Your generosity will directly contribute to helping those who need it most during their toughest times.
