Twenty individuals, fueled by compassion and a shared purpose, are gearing up for a life-changing journey - Perrigo's Braunton to London Cycle. Their mission? To raise £20,000 for Parkinson's U.K., an organization dedicated to supporting those affected by Parkinson's disease and funding crucial research to find a cure.
On the morning of September 11, 2023, the team will embark on this remarkable two-day cycling event, with excitement and determination to complete a 200 mile journey, starting from Braunton and ending in London.
The picturesque route will wind through rolling hills, charming villages, and along serene country roads, with each pedal stroke representing a step towards making a difference in the lives of those living with Parkinson's.
Beyond the main cycling event, Perrigo will provide fundraising opportunities for those who cannot partake in the long-distance ride by making static bikes available in it's U.K. sites, with a challenge for these three sites (London, Braunton and Barnsley) to collectively match the 200 miles on the static bikes.
Each participant will pay a fee, which will be donated directly to this event.
The static bikes will be available throughout the two-day event, giving employees a chance to pedal for a few minutes or a few hours, collectively adding their efforts to the noble cause, helping Perrigo reach it's £20,000 target.
Perrigo's Braunton to London Cycle is more than just a charity event; it is a testament to the power of compassion, determination, and teamwork. Together, these twenty individuals, supported by their colleagues and well-wishers, are changing lives and making a difference. With each revolution of the wheels, they bring Parkinson's U.K. one step closer to a brighter future.
Please support Perrigo's Braunton to London Cycle and the participants' efforts to raise £20,000 for Parkinson's U.K. by donating generously. Your contribution will have a lasting impact on the lives of those affected by Parkinson's disease.
