On 28th January 2021 two weeks before his 17th birthday, Max tragically died by suicide. The charity was set up in his name to provide hope and life saving treatment to those who are struggling with their mental health as Max was.

I (Toby) grew up playing sport alongside Max and always looked up to his incredible sporting ability and dedication. In particular, I fondly remember running with him during the RGS (our school) House Cross Country Competition. I loved running alongside (and usually just behind!) Max, and multiple times on the chilly Surrey hills we led our house to victory!

It has been a life-long goal of my Dad's (Mark) to run a half marathon in under 1hr30min with both his sons. This will be a huge challenge for all three of us, and one we plan on training hard for. In 2025 we are trying to achieve this difficult goal, alongside raising money for this brilliant cause.
