Perry turns 70!

Birthday Party · 12 October 2024
As I approach my 70th birthday, I’ve been reflecting on how fortunate I am and how I’d like to use this milestone to give back. This year, instead of gifts, I’m asking friends, family, and anyone who’s able to donate to Young Tongues—a charity that is very close to my heart.
Young Tongues was founded by my daughter, Barbara, who was diagnosed with tongue cancer aged 32. It supports people aged 18-64 who are facing tongue cancer. This charity helps individuals and families around the world by offering practical support, guidance, and emotional care to those who are battling this challenging disease.
Why This Cause Is So Important to Me
Watching Barbara build Young Tongues has been inspiring, but more than that, I’ve seen how much of a difference the charity makes. Tongue cancer is an illness that affects people at such critical stages of their lives—when they’re building careers, raising children, or just starting out. Young Tongues ensures that these individuals get the support they need so they don’t have to face this journey alone. I couldn’t be prouder of what Barbara has achieved, and I want to help her continue this vital work.
Thank you so much for being part of this special moment in my life and helping me make a real impact!
Warm regards,
Perry Reed
