I'm raising money for 'From Me To You' because I think that what they do is a very important, very compassionate act. Writing letters to cancer patients to encourage and uplift them is a huge kindness and they can't do it without our support.

Since I have mobility issues, I cannot run/walk/cycle in order to raise money so I'm hoping to raise £100 by the date of my fifty fourth birthday by writing one (1) Christmas card per day (which will then be sent on to be used by 'From Me To You' to send to cancer patients) over the fifty four days until my birthday. I have tendonitis in my right (writing) wrist, so I've decided to aim for just one card a day so that I don't aggravate my wrist too much to complete the task!

£3 puts stamps on five letters being sent to cancer patients receiving treatment at home.

£5 pays for the postage to send a pack of 20 donated letters to cancer patients in hospital.

£10 pays for a letter-writing kit for a new writer. Our writers generate, on average, 11 letters a year. Every year we deliver thousands of letters.
