Story
Year 9 are taking part in a sponsored sleep-out at school on 5th May in order to raise awareness and money for homelessness. They will brave the elements and sleep outside with only a sleeping bag and cardboard in order to experience some of what it might be like to be homeless. They will also spend some time with Emmaus companions learning about homelessness from their perspective.
At Emmaus, they know that overcoming homelessness often means more than a roof over your head. That’s why Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing meaningful work as well as a stable home for as long as someone needs it. Please help us raise money for their vital work
Thank you so much for reading our story. If you do decide to donate, please mention the pupil's name who you supporting so we can keep track of donations :-)
