Story

Steve and I have know each other for far too long. We've been best mates since University but now that we've gotten older and have far less time to hang out, we have to come up with clever ways to get together.

We scratched our heads and thought a great way of getting to hang out whilst doing something positive – making money for charities! So, every year we will aim to do something as a team to help raise money for a selected charity. I know, I know – what legends we are.

This year, we're taking on Pedal, Paddle, Peak, in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK because they need support now more than ever, and our muscles matter.

Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for the 110,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's currently no cure, and it many cases, it limits lives. MDUK funds groundbreaking research into into treatments and cures as well as providing life-changing individuals and families living with these conditions.

We chose this charity and event to start with as it's hosted up here in the Lake District where I now live. I am worried about how Steve will cope with the fresh air and the friendly northern folk. A bit different to that London life.

So come along – please be generous for a great cause — all donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
