Like most shelters in Manchester and nationwide, Millstream Animal Shelter is full to brimming with cats abandoned or born feral on the streets.

This sanctuary provides a lifelong home for over 60 cats who aren't suited to rehoming. They also manage the neutering and rehoming of hundreds of cats per year, helping to limit the growing crisis of un-neutered cats breeding on the streets.

I have my own rescue (Jubjub) from Millstream, and see the number of kittens to senior cats they care for, without the resources of a large nationwide animal charity.

On October 5th I will be running the Chester Marathon and raising money for Millstream. My mum will also be running the metric Chester marathon.
