Story

The Alder Centre (https://www.alderhey.nhs.uk/locations/alder-centre/) is an amazing place like no other. It's unique, it offers support to anyone affected by the death of a child of any age. The Centre is an incredible partnership between professionals and volunteers. For 37 years it's been helping people get through the most awful times and giving them hope that no matter how terrible they seem things can get better.

The brilliant staff from the Centre helped Pete, Connal and their family cope with the loss of Maebh 20 years ago. We had never heard of them, but they were there when we needed their support the most, they helped us to rebuild our lives and carry on. We want to make sure that they can continue to to do that. You never know when you or one of your closest friends or relatives might need them.

That's why Pete, Connal and Rudy are completing the 20km Wirral Coastal Walk to raise money for this wonderful cause, please support us if you can. Every penny we raise will go towards the services that the Alder Centre provides.

Thank you.
