Story
On Saturday 20th June 2026, I and my friend Jess Pomfret will take on a cycling challenge that seems quite scary to me! Covering a route of over 200 miles and an elevation of over 3000m, Jess and I will cycle from the East Coast of England at sunrise just after 4:30am, and end on the west coast before sunset just under 17 hours later.
The route covers a diverse cross-section of London, countryside and UK history. Starting in the Thames estuary, the 200+ mile route bi-sects south London, bridging the Thames onto Wiggin’s Olympic time trial route, before seeking green country lanes, quaint villages, the lush Vale of Pewsey, climbing the Mendip hills, descending breathtaking Cheddar gorge, finally arriving on the seafront at Weston-Super-Mare.
We have been training hard to take on this mammoth challenge for Momentum Fitness Charity, please give what you can to support us.
