As Pete’s family we would like to say a huge thank you to all those who donated so generously to his fundraising for Macmillan and also to Jill who, together with Mac & Co, worked so tirelessly in keeping the momentum going. Alongside the fundraising efforts of Phil & Liz at the Great North Run over £30,000 has been donated to support the wonderful work of Macmillan.

Pete was cared for in the last days of his life by the fantastic team at East Cheshire Hospice. They provided him with a quality of life in those final days that would not have been available elsewhere and provided a warm and comfortable place for Pete to spend time with his loved ones. The hospice relies on donations for over 80% of its funding. It is such a valuable resource and we as a family cannot express our gratitude enough for all that they did for Pete. If you are continuing to support Pete in his fundraising, moving forward we will be raising money for the fantastic team at East Cheshire Hospice.
