In August of 2023 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. My partner & I were worried & had no idea what to expect. We got in touch with the Brainstrust charity & were connected with people who had gone through similar trauma & we have remained in touch since, helping us through the journey of surgery, radiotherapy & chemo. We also join their monthly meetings online & they are always there to guide us both with helpful advice.

I am a huge superhero fan & with the new release of Superman, we are going to do a Superman movie marathon weekend on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd August 2025.

Many of our brain tumour community members cannot join physical fundraising events. This is a fully accessible challenge that anyone can take part in from home – a feat of movie marathoning of 5 films to raise vital funds!

(A watch party is when we watch the same film at the same time in your own homes. We cannot provide a stream so you need to get access to the films yourself).
