Peters’ Rebellion (Way)

Peter Spratt is raising money for The Rowans Hospice

Ride the Rebellion way - 232 miles · 23 May 2026

Rowans Hospice provides end of life care across South East Hampshire. We help improve quality of life for the patient around the clock. We receive a very small level of Government support and almost all of the money required to provide our services needs to be raised through voluntary giving.

Story

Two amateur cyclists with no experience of long distance or multi day rides are going to take their lives in their hands and ride 232 miles across three days of cycling. Not only that but they will be taking all their camping gear with them and sleeping wild for three nights! The roaming Rebellion Way in Norfolk is the route and should offer some beautiful views as we trundle along

Driving up to Norwich on the Saturday for a half day cycling, two VERY long days of cycling and (hopefully) one last easy half day back into Norwich.

Please help support both our efforts and those of the incredible Rowans Hospice who offer the best possible support for palliative patients in the Portsmouth area - see their blurb below!

Rowans Hospice provide palliative care to the highest quality for those living with a life-limiting illness in South East Hampshire. Our hospice carers help improve quality of life for the patient by easing physical symptoms and offering psychological, spiritual and social support to both patients and their loved ones. Hospice care is available round the clock. We receive a very small level of statutory support from the Government, however, almost all of the money needed to provide our services has to be raised through donations and fundraising
