Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am cycling 200 miles in one day, chasing the sun, from sunrise in Whitley Bay, South Shields to Ayr in Scotland, hopefully before sunset! I am one of many cycling the challenge on the longest day, 21 June 2025. I am training hard and my 57 year old legs are going to hurt, not to mention other more sensitive areas of my body :-)

Your kind donation will reach the Midsomer Norton Veterans Community Trust who have agreed to pass on all the money raised by this event for local use by the Midsomer Norton and Radstock Branch of the Royal British Legion. This is a cause close to my heart having served in the RAF for 39 years. I am also serving as the current President of the Branch. Your donation will help the branch continue to run, serving ex-Service people and their families in the MSN and Radstock area and ensuring that those who have gone before us will always be remembered - thank you.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
