At our 20-week fetal scan in August 2022, my son Milo was diagnosed with spina bifida and later hydrocephalus.

During this confusing time, SHINE were invaluable in helping me and my partner Lucie. They offered multiple advice and support calls throughout the pregnancy and after Milo's birth.

I will be completing the 10k Great Barrow Challenge (Day 1) Run on Saturday 22nd July 2023 with my friend (and Milo's godfather) Angelo Monni, to raise funds for this brilliant charity.

Any donations, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated. SHINE is almost entirely funded by the generosity of the general public, and your donation changes lives. It will enable the charity to continue providing vital early intervention, support groups, training events, information, reassurance and so much more.
