In August this year I will be cycling the length of the United Kingdom - from Land's End to John O'Groats - to raise money for Derbyshire Children' Holiday Centre.

DCHC are an amazing charity that for over 130 years have been taking disadvantaged children for life-changing seaside holidays, building confidence, forging friendships and shining a light into the darkest of circumstances...until now.

This year, due to a lack of funding, DCHC have had to pause their amazing work. Instead, fundraising is taking place this year to ensure as many children can benefit in as many ways from 2026 onwards.

So....this year I will be doing two fundraising events:

On 17 May 2025 I will be cycling 107 miles from Derby Arena on Pride Park to Derbyshire Children's holiday centre in Skegness.

Then:

On 11 August 2025 I will be riding solo from Land's end to John O'Groats. This will entail the following:

13 Days riding

1140 miles total

43500 ft total climbing

87 miles average daily miles

3350 feet average daily climbing.

If you would like to sponsor me and make a positive difference to a disadvantaged child's life, then it will make my endeavours so much easier! My aim is to raise a pound for each mile I cycle...every little really does help!
