Ashurst Perkins Coie's fundraiser for Tartan Talkers

Peter Fee is raising money for Tartan Talkers
Tartan Talkers was basically born the day we lost our beloved laddie to suicide. Mental Health stole our boy and we were determined no other family would have to suffer the brutality of suicide, so Tartan Talkers was launched. NAE PROBLEM IS WORTH YER LIFE Please Help us to save lives

Story

On Friday 11th September a team from the Ashurst Perkins Coie Glasgow Office will be taking part in the Business Fives charity event.

Business Fives is a corporate charity events company that organises five-a-side football, golf, and esports tournaments across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. It provides a platform for professionals to network, strengthen team relationships, and raise money for charitable causes.

The Ashurst Perkins Coie team will be taking part in the five-a-side football event and we are on a mission to put our charity partner Tartan Talkers on everyone's radar and raise vital funds to support their incredible work.

Tartan Talkers is a Scottish-based charity dedicated to male suicide prevention and mental health awareness. The charity aims to encourage men to open up about their struggles under the motto, "Nae problem is worth your life."

In Glasgow, the male suicide rate is approximately 24.1 deaths per 100,000 people, which is significantly higher than the overall Scottish average and while an exact headcount does not exist, approximately 22% of adult males in Glasgow experience common mental health problems, such as depression and anxiety. This translates to roughly tens of thousands of men across the city.

If anyone would like to make a donation and support our efforts for Tartan Talkers it would be greatly appreciated!
