Well what a fantatic day. It was hot but managed to get through it and also managed to break the world record! Well done to Record Breakers Lucy and Katie you're both super human superheros!

Thank you to all for all your find and generous donations that also smashed the £3k set target.

Time to rest the legs and body now for a couple of days.

I'm running this years TCS London Marathon as a Guided Runner with the lovely Lucy who is in the photo of a 10k run we did in December 24 completing in 48 minutes.

The marathon will also be a World Record attempt! as the fastest Visually Impaired Mother/ Daughter combined marathon time.

I wanted to make the most of this unique and amazing opportunity and what better way than to also raise money for Meadow House Hospice in Ealing where every penny of money received will be greatly needed to keep this small but incredible service with a kind and dedicated team of staff.

My target is £3,000 so please feel free to donate and hopefully we can get that new world record too!! Thanks in advance. Pete
