Story
Helen Arkell was my grandmother and a pioneer in Dyslexia. In her lifetime she helped countless children, and adults, to overcome word blindness and go on to lead amazing careers. She leaves behind a great legacy and a great team that continues to follow her ethos and support anyone from any background. The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity leads the way in providing specialist support. There is no government funding for dyslexia, despite its lifelong impact. Fundraising is vital to ensure in-depth assessment and tuition is available to anyone with dyslexia, including lower income families and schools in disadvantaged areas. Please help me help the charity and in turn change the lives of many.
