Story
In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon in support of Jesuit Refugee Service UK (JRS UK). For those unfamiliar, JRS UK is a charity that serves refugees with practical support such as food and clothing. The £2,000 fundraising goal will help provide a full year of food and toiletries for eight individuals, which is an incredible impact for a relatively small contribution.
From my formative years at Jesuit Tampa, to my time fundraising and volunteering at Brooklyn Jesuit Prep, my own connection to the Jesuits has shaped my values, and I’ve long admired their commitment to service. Additionally, running has helped me find my footing in new places, most recently here in London, and supporting JRS UK is a way to help refugees find the same sense of direction and hope.
Every pound raised will help JRS UK continue its vital mission. Thank you for your support.
