I am participating in the Manchester Half Marathon 2024 to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation. The BHF has played a crucial role in reducing the number of deaths from heart and circulatory disease in the UK.

In 2018 I had open heart surgery costing around £16,000 and in 2023 I had a pace maker fitted. I want to try and repay this and help BHF to help others who have suffered from similar heart conditions as myself. Currently our efforts since my surgery have raised over £9500, another £500 from the half marathon would be a big boost towards our overall target of £16,000
