Story
On Sunday 23rd August I'll be riding the 50-Mile Tour De Môn and aiming to match or beat a personal best of 2 hours 29 minutes, but most importantly raise vital funds for RNLI West Kirby! As a local charity, the RNLI does not receive any government funding and solely depends on our donations so they can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones out of peril on the seas.
RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. They keep watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands, and also right here our doorstep at West Kirby and the wider Wirral peninsula. Behind the scenes the RNLI safety teams and educators work tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.
It's that time of year when so many of us are striving to raise funds for a plethora of great causes, however there is no pressure at all and all donations are much appreciated by myself and RNLI West Kirby!
