Join the "hottest, shortest sponsored walk in the world" and support the care of people living with deafblindness around the UK.

Story

It’s over 20 years since I had my head shaved in assembly at Northborough School, raising over £700 for Comic Relief (Red Nose Day 2003 - Big Hair Do!). It’s about time I faced another challenge.

So, in my infinite wisdom, I'm facing the flames and taking part in the Deafblind UK Firewalk 2025 🔥

It's exactly what it sounds like - a barefoot walk across red-hot wood embers measuring up to 800 degrees! No tricks, no special effect. Just me and the fire.

With the stunning Peterborough Cathedral in the background, I will quite literally be hot-footing it across the coals to support those living with deafblindness around the UK.

Your donation, whatever you can give, will make a huge to the lives of people affected by sight and hearing loss, enabling Deafblind UK to continue their vital work and reach all those who need them.

Family, friends, ex-colleagues and, especially, past pupils (now that you are, hopefully, earning money of your own after such a stellar education!!), please consider encouraging and supporting me in this event - I may be getting older, but I’m still up for a bit of adventure.

Please share these details with anyone else that you think might remember me

Thanks - Peter.
