Iam Doing The Rangers Charity Foundation Big Ibrox Sleep Out

I Have Been Wanting To Do This For Years To See What It Is Like For The People That Have To Do This Everynight

Thank You For Any Donations

The latest Scottish Government homelessness statistics have led one of our Community Charity Partners, Simon Community Scotland, to take the unprecedented step of declaring a ‘People Emergency’.

Over 40,000 homelessness applications have been made over the 2023-24 period, an increase of over 1,000 compared to 2022-23, and the highest since 2011-12. On 31 March 2024, 16,330 households were living in temporary accommodation, a figure which is 9% higher than the previous year.

Against the backdrop of these shocking figures, the Foundation believes it is more important than ever to support our Community Charity Partners, Glasgow City Mission and Simon Community Scotland, who both do incredible work in our city with those experiencing homelessness.

Our fans have always backed these causes and supported our Big Ibrox Sleep Outs, and we hope this year’s events, which will take place on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 November, will be no different.

Sleep Out participants will spend the night either on the technical area pitch-side or in the stand (under cover) if the weather is wet and will get a small glimpse of the nightly conditions experienced by people in our city who are street homeless.

Half the funds raised will benefit the work of Glasgow City Mission and Simon Community Scotland, with the other half of the profits supporting the Rangers Charity Foundation’s life-changing work in the community.
