I will be running 13.1 miles through hilly Newcastle on 7th September at the Great North Run.

Why would I put myself through this? To support the marvellous work of Ivy Dene Rabbit Rescue. I am the guardian of 5 beautiful bunnies, including 4 Ivy Dene rescues: Rhino, Bramble, Bunbury and Ernest! (Pumpkin being the odd one out)

Rabbits are the UK's most neglected companion animal, and with the rising cost of living more and more are being abandoned. Ivy Dene do great work as an ethical, vegan rabbit sanctuary and rescue, but they are also facing increased running costs. Please consider what you can give or do to support their vital work.

At the very least remember: rabbits are Someone Not Something - Adopt don't shop!
