Blackpool Colour Run 2025 · 19 July 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

Colour Run sees participants run, jog or walk a 3km route along Starr Gate Beach. Along the way they'll pass through SEVEN coloured paint stations, getting covered head to toe in bright powdered paint all to support Trinity Hospice!

Story

Trinity Hospice in Blackpool provides an excellent service which costs circa £12m per year just to keep operating ..... and less than half of that is provided by government, meaning that it needs to raise more than £6m every single year simply from donations. The Colour Run is one of many events which helps to raise that daunting sum! Trinity opened in 1985 (my mum, Margaret, passed away there in January 1987) and 1st June this year marked Trinity's 40th anniversary.

This will be my third consecutive year doing the Colour Run and I am so grateful to those that have so generously sponsored me in previous years .... and as time marches on and over £6m needs to be raised from donations every single year, I'd be so very pleased if you could do so again.

Many thanks indeed to all my sponsors both old and new - very much appreciated and I promise to publish some ridiculously colourful and less than dignified photos of myself on Squire's Gate beach covered in powders of all hues .... especially Tangerine of course!
