I am taking on the challenge of cycling 94km supporting my wife's nephew Matt Drewery who is attempting this amazing challenge on his Unicycle . The event is this Sunday 26/7 starting on the outskirts of Bristol climbing up over the Mendips and across the Somerset Levels to finish in Western Super Mare. Matt is very fit and a good bit younger than me so I am a little nervous that I will be able to keep up with him. On a unicycle he cannot freewheel and has to pedal down hill as well to ensure control . Another fact is on a Unicycle there is no way to take the pressure off your backside . I am really pleased to be supporting him and will have the added advantage of 2 wheels, 12 gears and a comfy saddle . I am supporting Matt because it is a very good cause and also I have a growing number of friends who have been through the rising PSA and various treatments . If you don't know your PSA then go and get it measured its a simple blood test.

the weather is looking good 23 degrees C and overcast , light winds , so we anticipate 5-6 hours before the end BBQ if they haven't packed up by the time we get to Western Super Mare.
