Grassroots Rwanda is a uk charity working with the Anglican Diocese of Shyogwe in Rwanda working with the poorest furthest from the tarmac road.

In the remote region of Munazi the people have built a church, a pastors house and a three room nursery. 400 people worship here regularly each Sunday and over 50 children attend the nursery school, allowing children from the surrounding area a start in education.

The church is boxed into a small triangle of land, but on the other side of the track, a piece of land has become available to buy for £8,000. And more importantly the local authority has given their support in that if the land can be bought, they will help the church build a small primary school there. This appeal is to buy that land.
