Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year is the 40th Anniversary of the establishment of Friends of the Cancer Centre. I have always appreciated the support this great charity has provided for cancer patients and their families in Northern Ireland. This has covered many things from providing free tea and coffee to patients attending clinics in the Bridgewater Suite at Belfast City Hospital through to funding Clinical Nurse Specialists and ground breaking research here in Northern Ireland. I have had direct experience of the support from this awesome charity since my own diagnosis with myelodysplasia, a form of blood cancer, and want to give something back.

Having participated in the “Take on The Tower Challenge” previously I decided to aim for new heights with a 15,000 feet Skydive challenge on Saturday 17th May.

Thanks everyone for your support for this brilliant charity.
