I am excited to be running the 2026 London Marathon in aid of FaNs (Friends & Neighbours) Essex.

Older people living in residential care homes can often feel lonely and isolated because they are no longer connected with the things and community around them. Friends & Neighbours (FaNs) run initiatives to alleviate this, including the Wishing Washing Line where community volunteers make the residents wishes come true, ColchesterUp where nursery & primary schools connect for inter-generational learning & FaNimals bringing joy to those who once had pets but are no long able to live with them.

The My Home Life Essex Community Association is the charity behind FaNs and it is a privilege to be working with a great local cause on their first marathon fundraiser. We would be extremely grateful for any donations received.
