Those who know me well will know this is a deeply personal cause.

As a family, we owe so much to Adoptionplus and individual members of its teams.

Like other organisations who rely on multiple funding sources and goodwill Adoptionplus achieves so much, but can only do as much as it is supported to do.

A year or so ago we lost one if those who had stood by us for several years, as the funding available didn't stretch far enough.

Its easy to take charities for granted, and i want to do my part to keep this one going for the sake of children and families who really need that support.

On 6th June 2026 I will join Team Adoptionplus to try to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon) in 24hrs.

I did it in my early 20s, and it was challenging then. I'm not as young as I was, and this time will probably be really tough.
