Story

Hi

My name is Peter Whitehead, (for people who don't recognise the name, try SNOWY) I played football in the Lancashire & Cheshire Football League for many years playing for Hazel Grove FC. I also played in the Stockport & District Sunday League for Dilke Celtic. I played cricket too in the Derbyshire and Cheshire League for Hazel Grove. I have two very good friends of mime who I played football with for a combination of over 35 years. Unfortunately, they have both been struck down with the hateful disease, Motor Neurones Disease.

Now, I am no Kevin Sinfield, I am a 71-year-old man that has had both my knees replaced. I have no intentions of running marathons but I intend to walk 120 miles in November. I would like to show that the amateur sports community can get together and raise money to try to help to beat this disease. I think that all amateur players can help by sponsoring me.

All I am asking for is for you to donate £1 to my just giving page. I would like to raise just £500. So please donate and share this.

Thank you
