Story
Cycling Through France for Longfield Hospice – A Journey of Gratitude and Remembrance
Three years ago, my brother Richard Wilson faced his battle with cancer with immense courage. Through it all, Longfield Hospice stood by him—and by us—offering unwavering care, compassion, and professionalism. Their work goes beyond medical support; they provide comfort, dignity, and strength not just for patients, but for their families and loved ones as well.
Longfield Hospice relies solely on charitable donations, yet the impact of their care is immeasurable. They are a lifeline in the hardest of times, offering guidance, kindness, and an open heart to those who need it most.
To honour Richard’s memory and to give back to the organization that gave us so much, my partner and I are embarking on a cycling journey through France. With every mile, we hope to raise awareness of Longfield’s vital work and encourage others to support their mission.
This ride is not just about the road ahead—it’s about embracing the simple joys in life, finding strength in movement, and growing gracefully as we carry Richard’s spirit with us.
We ride for him. We ride for Longfield. And we ride for the countless families who still need their care.
If you’d like to join us in supporting Longfield Hospice, your help can make a real difference. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.❤️🚴♂️
