Story

On Wednesday 8th April, Peter (Bampa) Young finally let go in order to move on to a more comfortable place with no pain where he can walk along whistling to the birds while enjoying an ice cream…

Words cannot express how Marie Curie Nurses made such a difficult time, a little easier, for Peter and the family - their nurses are angels and in his memory we would like to help someone else benefit from their support.. you are welcome to join us walking by 11miles on their Beat the Gower Coast event.. or spare a few pennies to support and sponsor us..

£32 could help fund an hour of hospice bereavement counselling.

£60 could help pay for a uniform for a Marie Curie Nurse.

£207 could help fund nine hours of overnight nursing care.

Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, they are with you to the end. They bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in hospices and over the phone. And they push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.

Marie Curie is a charity working across the UK and needs support to do their vital work.

Thank you so much xx
