Story
Every year we decorate our houses for Christmas to raise money for charity. This year we will be raising money for GUTS (Guildford Undetected Tumour Screening)
GUTS was established in 1983 with the aim of improving bowel cancer survival. Working in partnership with GP services in Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex, the charity instigated one of the very earliest UK bowel cancer screening programmes.
Since the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme came into operation in 2006, they have used their funds to support research, provide equipment and facilities to improve care and treatment for patients at the Royal Surrey FT, and fund the GUTS Colon Cancer Family Clinic. They also work to raise awareness around bowel cancer, its causes and prevention.
If you like our lights and would love to support this great charity, please donate whatever you can.
