Story
Remy Poyner, who has been with our club for the last 5 years, has recently been diagnosed with Leukaemia and is currently undergoing treatment at Addenbrookes and Peterborough City Hospital.
We have recently held the Christmas Cup a charity football match between, Remy's current team Peterborough RTC JPL U14s and Yaxley U15s, the day was a huge success.
Following on from this, if any of you were unable to attend the day and would like to show your support, Remy's family have requested that any further donations to be awarded to this fantastic charity.
We are sure that many of your paths will have crossed with Remy, who is not only a very talented football player but is also one of the most likeable characters across the city.
Please share and donate to show your support to help fight this and bring smiles everywhere to young kids ❤️
When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
