Story

in the next step of my target to run the six global marathon majors I am excited to be running Chicago marathon in October 2025 in support of the amazing WellChild charity.

As a dad I have been blessed with two beautiful and healthy kids, they’ve had their health problems along the way, nothing too serious, but enough for me to start to understand how challenging it is to care for kids who have long term care needs, and what a strain that puts on all aspects of your life

WellChild make that care that bit easier, and crucially help the family to not feel so alone.

Please give generous to support these kids and the amazing care of WellChild.

WellChild Childrens Nurses provide essential care and practical support to children and young people requiring long-term or complex care. They play a crucial role in enabling children to leave hospital and be cared for at home, reducing the practical, emotional and financial impact for families.

WellChild is also committed to funding high quality, innovative projects designed to have a positive impact for seriously ill children both now and in the future. This includes WellChilds Helping Hands programme which continues to go from strength to strength, working with volunteers from companies and organisations across the country to tackle essential projects in the homes of children with serious illness. Those volunteers provide the manpower and enthusiasm for projects such as bedroom and garden makeovers.
