The one and only Peter Ransley died peacefully aged 94 on 29th January 2026.

Peter's first play Ellen in 1970 was inspired by a woman he befriended, who lived on the streets near his home in Kensington.

The Upper Room is our local charity which provides support for people experiencing homelessness, a cause always important to Peter.
