Story
Dear clients, friends, family, and colleagues,
I hope you’re well and enjoying the sunshine which was well overdue this year.
As many of you know, I’m a qualified specialist personal trainer in stroke and neurological rehabilitation, and I’ve proudly been working in this field for the past 16 years. For the last 7 of those, I’ve been an associate of the ARNI Institute - an incredible charity doing vital work to help stroke and neuro patients reclaim their independence once formal NHS services end.
Why ARNI Matters:
ARNI bridges the critical gap between NHS discharge and long-term recovery.
It trains specialists like myself to deliver tailored, in-home rehab.
Their work is based on the latest, evidence-based research.
Most importantly, they give people hope, function, and dignity back.
To keep this service running, ARNI relies heavily on donations and a small portion of commission from training sessions. Compared to private neuro rehab centres, ARNI offers a highly affordable and effective alternative - but they need support to keep going.
How I am Helping:
On Friday, September 25, 2026, I’ll be taking on 13 Valleys challenge in Lake District in effort to raise awareness and funds for ARNI. This is around 114 miles throughout the national park with over 7,000 metres of elevation gain. This will be the longest and most challenging run I would have ever ran and is classed as ''brutal'' difficulty with 60% DNF rate.
This is no small challenge - but it’s nothing compared to what many stroke survivors face every day.
If you can spare anything at all, I would be truly grateful for your support. Every donation helps ARNI deliver life-changing rehabilitation to someone who needs it.
