Story
In May, I will be part of a team attempting to cross the wild and remote Knoydart Peninsula in aid of British Exploring Society, a world class youth development charity.
The Knoydart peninsula is only accessible by boat or by walking in, making it one of the UK’s most remote places. The lack of mobile phone coverage only accentuates this. The 3-day adventure will see us cover over 30km, from Kinlockhourn to Inverie, and 5,400 feet of ascent, including Ladhar Bheinn, considered one of Scotland’s best mountains to climb due to its sheer size, isolation, beauty and views.
The results of British Exploring Society's programmes are transformational. Like the young people they work with,
We hope to realise the power and personal impact of expeditions and how they can help open potential, building skills and resilience for a stronger future.
I am incredibly grateful for any support you can give us. Thank you
