Story

So… I may have agreed to something slightly ridiculous.

Later this year I’ll be walking 100km over two days with Sally’s family and friends in memory of our lovely Sally, who we sadly lost to cancer. It feels right to take on something properly challenging together in honour of someone who meant so much to so many of us.

I’m also doing this thinking of the many other friends and family in my life who’ve faced cancer — those thankfully through it, those still battling, and those we’ve sadly lost along the way. It affects far too many of the people we love.

Training is underway (blisters pending), and I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK, whose work helps bring better treatments and hope for families in the future.

If you’d like to support — or just sponsor my sore feet — I’d be hugely grateful.
