People who are deafblind have substantial visual and hearing loss which causes extreme difficulty with communication, information and mobility. We aim to raise aspirations and expand the lives of Deafblind people, some of the least visible and most isolated members of society.

Story

The Grand Superintendent MEC James Orr and members of his commission will be undertaking the mammoth task of walking from Lochrin Basin in Edinburgh to Bowling, following the route of the Union and Forth and Clyde canals, over the weekend of Friday 12th - Sunday 14th May.

This is a distance of 101km.

Deafblind Scotland campaigns for the rights of the Deafblind community and provides a range of services, support, training and information.
