Someone dies every 2 hours from ovarian cancer. Symptom awareness is important as speedy diagnosis is vital. 93% of people diagnosed in the earliest stages live over 5 years, but symptoms can be hard to spot & diagnosis comes too late for many. We want a future where no-one dies of ovarian cancer.

Story

Our focus is to raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer to people across the North West. Speed of diagnosis is vital in securing a better outcome, but this diagnosis comes too late for many.

We aim to help people spot the symptoms so they can inform their GPs as early as possible. We are also working to raise awareness of the symptoms amongst the region’s GPs to help avoid losing precious time through misdiagnosis.
