Starlight Barking was founded in 2015.

Their dream is to link up travel companies with dog shelters in their destinations. By inviting their staff and guests to support these shelters we hope that the dumping and poisoning of dogs will be relegated to the history books.

We encourage local communities to support the shelter volunteers and educate their young to respect animals.

One such shelter is Lemnos dog shelter which is a tiny underfunded dog shelter in Greece currently home to 60 dogs and 23 puppies. Two amazing women, Fotoni and Vaggelio, work with Starlight Barking to rehome these desperate animals in the UK.

Since Covid, the situation has become horrendous so Phil is running to both raise money to help these dogs as well as raise awareness and hopefully find some furry friends a forever home.

Beethoven was rehomed in June last year and has gone from a nervous underweight frightened dog to a wonderful fluffy friend.
