Story
This April I’ll be running the Manchester Marathon to raise crucial funds for Friends of Reynalds Cross School. The school in Solihull provides specialist education and care for children and young people aged 3–19 with severe learning difficulties and life-limiting conditions.
It’s a charity close to my heart because my god daughter, Jasmine, attends Reynalds Cross School. The dedication and support they offer makes a real difference every single day, helping her to develop essential life skills, from communication and personal care to emotional wellbeing and physical activity. I’ve seen first-hand the incredible impact that the staff and resources have on her and many others. For some children, whose conditions are progressive, their time at the school is particularly precious, and having the right tools and support makes all the difference.
The funds raised will directly support accessible bikes, sensory room equipment, and the leasing of vital iPads. These resources are integral to the children’s development, supporting communication, encouraging physical activity, fostering independence, and creating calming, engaging environments tailored to each child’s needs.
Every donation, big or small, will help provide the opportunities and experiences these young people truly deserve. If you’re able to support, I would be incredibly grateful — and so would Jasmine and her friends 💙
